Katrina C. Johnson, PhD provides leadership consultation and executive coaching to help leaders maximize potential for themselves, their teams and their organizations.
As a Principal with Ampersand Leadership Group, she focuses on executive and organizational diligence. She provides an objective sounding board to help organizations make tough decisions about who to hire and how to groom talent for the next level. She and her colleagues help corporate and private equity clients better understand the organizational strengths and weaknesses of acquisition targets, with respect to their culture, communication and decision-making.
When she is not engaged in corporate and private equity work with Ampersand, Katrina provides coaching, consultation, and training workshops to non-profit organizations such Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Katrina’s experience includes years of neuroscience study and investigative research, teaching at a top national university, and practicing as a clinical psychologist.
To facilitate leadership excellence, she takes a behavioral approach, always aiming to help clients translate knowledge into action and lead more intentionally.
